| Is the marriage otherwise nice but she just got into an honest accident? Or does she takeover and break everything you own? I have a friend whose wife ends up destroying almost everything he has. He got a shiny new truck and she nagged him until she was the one driving it. Now it's all scratched up. Then he gave in to the fact that the truck is now hers and got a new car for himself, and then she wanted to drive it and she dented that up too. Really she's not that bad she just has 2 problems: 1.)She needs to touch everything she sees, and 2.)She breaks everything she touches.
So it's not that he's going to choose material objects over his wife, but it's become obvious that she's going to drain his money from him as long as he's with her. It will never end. She's going to get the boot soon.
